to the sexual assault of a hotel employee. this is ivon major. officers charged him with sexual assault, battery with intent to commit sexual assault and kidnapping among other charges police say late saturday afternoon a hotel employee was inside one of the rooms when major walked in. investigators say major beat and then sexually assaulted the victim. he only left when another employee came in. and police are still looking for

suspects who beat and robbed a security guard tuesday morning near boulder station . it happened near vegas valley and lamb around 2:30. police say the guard was in uniform when the three suspects attacked the guard. the guard's handgun, baton and pepper spray were stolen police were able to track down two of the suspects a short time later. police have arrested the estranged husband of an elderly woman found dead at her home over the weekend. 55-year-old arthur lopez is now locked-up facing a murder charge. the roommate of 78-year-old erlina penaflor found her body sunday at her home near washington and swenson. police say she was found laying on the floor in a pool of blood. we have some new information on the bee attack at a southwest home that left one man in critical condition. we've confirmed the company doing the work - was unlicensed. the owner of "toms bee hives" says he didn't have a business license .. because he is not a business.. when we asked city officials, they told us he should have a business

" the department of agriculture is looking to change the local law. state leaders approved more money to defend the controversial school choice program. the nevada board of examiniers approved another 125 thousand dollars to legal costs for the education savings account. the money is in addition to the 420 thousand the state has already paid to an outside firm-- bancroft associates who is defending the state. the voucher program allows parents to use public education money for the school of their choice... including private school tuition. it has been on

m-g-m for the tenth annual women's leadership conference. it was hosted by c-n-n's-- natalie allen.. and around a thousand women attended. the two days were packed with inspirational speakers and empowering workshops. one speaker, "adrianne haslet" is a dancer who lost her foot in the boston marathon bombing in 20-13.
